Zefy is an admitted lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria. She has completed a Bachelor degree in Law and a Bachelor degree in Business from La Trobe University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Institute.
During her time at university, Zefy was an active member of the LSA – La Trobe University Law Students’ Association and volunteered at the Nillumbik and Banyule Community Legal Centre.
Zefy has previously worked as an editor and a legal assistant. Her previous experience has equipped her with diversity and adaptability.
As a passionate legal professional, Zefy advises and acts on behalf of individuals and businesses in relation to their migration matters, while liaising with the Department of Home Affairs and other government bodies. Zefy has prepared and assisted in Administrative Appeals and Ministerial Intervention matters with great success, which have captured the attention of national Australian media outlets.
She is a committee member in the Victorian Women Lawyers Networking Committee and Social Justice Committee and a Legal Institute of Victoria member.
Zefy’s enthusiasm and strong passion to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients comes from her own experience with migration, as she relocated from Greece to Australia in 2010 to complete her studies.
Zefy is also fluent in Greek and is currently learning French. In her spare time, she likes travelling and reading books.
