Ethos Migration Lawyers strictly adheres to client legal privilege (CLP), often referred to as “legal professional privilege”. In simple terms this means that we will under no circumstances disclose any information you provide to us to any third parties. Collection of information

Ethos Migration Lawyers only collects personal information that is reasonably necessary for us to provide you with our services. The kind of personal information we collect and hold will depend upon the type of services that you request from us and may include: your name, date of birth, address, contact details and relevant identification documents including immigration information.

How information may be collected

Ethos Migration Lawyers collects your personal information in a number of ways including:

  • from other migration agencies where permitted by law; and
  • from third parties as required in order to fulful our duties to you as your service provider.

  • to verify your identity or transactions which you may enter into with us;
  • to administer and manage the provision of our products and services;

  • to provide you with offers of other Ethos Migration Lawyer’s products or services;

Other service providers associated with Ethos Migration Lawyers

We may contract out some of our administrative and support functions such as information gathering, identification verification and other back office related functions to external contractors from time to time. Only information necessary for the contractor to carry out their function will be provided and will be subject to confidentiality clauses in the relevant services agreement.

Ethos Migration Lawyers use a range of services provided by Google such as Google Analytics. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.  We use the information we get from Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.  We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information.  Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.  You can opt out of Google Analytics if you disable or refuse the cookie, disable JavaScript, or use the opt-out service provided by Google.

Ethos Migration Lawyers use analytics data and the double click cookie to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website. You have the ability to opt out of the double click cookie by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page or by opting out of Google Analytics by visiting the Google Analytics opt-out page.

Storage and security of information

Ethos Migration Lawyers stores personal information in a combination of computer storage facilities, paper-based files and other records. We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your personal information will not be sold to anyone.

Once personal information is no longer required to be retained, it is either destroyed or permanently de – identified.
