Long Visitor Visa Now Available for Singaporean Nationals
The Department of Immigration & Border Protection has introduced a new long validity, multiple-entry option for the Visitor visa (subclass 600) for Singaporean passport holders.
The visa will be valid for up to six years and will enable stays of up to three months on each arrival into Australia. The long validity Visitor visa (subclass 600) is available for both the Tourist stream and the Business Visitor stream of the Visitor visa.
The standard requirements will still be required to be met such as:
- Applicants must satisfy all health criteria
- Applicants must meet the character requirement
- Having access to adequate funds during the proposed period of stay in Australia
- Demonstrate that they intend to visit Australia temporarily and meet the requirements under the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) criteria
